One of our favourite mutts went to a wonderful new home with a garden near Germia last Friday... although when named we didn't realize Honey was in fact a he. We've apologized! Honey impressed his new owner, and every visitor to the shelter, with his 5 feet leaps in the air!
It is no surprise that he has been adopted by one of our volunteers. There may be cuter dogs at the dog shelter but there certainly are not too many more entertaining dogs!
When he first arrived at the dog shelter he was very nervous and would hide when approached by our volunteers, but those days are far behind here now as he became used to being walked and got really excited when he saw us coming with treats! And he's been known to grab some sneaky treats if the opportunity crops up!
Below are a few photos of Honey in Agim’s home. He looks like he’s very comfortable and is already much loved. Agim walks Honey twice a day in the park just before Germia near the playground. Honey can’t get lost as he’s got a nice mauve tag from Bojan’s pet shop in Skopje; with Agim’s name and mobile number engraving done by the stall opposite the ground floor supermarket in Ramstore.

Honey was found as a baby under a car near a market and spent all his life in the shelter, that's why he's still frightened of cars, motorbykes and traffic and has been staying put in the garden.
Honey has really settled into life with Agim and his family - it's great to see another success story! Well done everyone... and thanks Agim!
